Carcinus Ltd is proud to have supported the preparation of an Environmental Statement as part of the Environmental Impact Statement that accompanied the planning submission for this development. Our experienced team of environmental consultants carefully considered and reviewed the schemes plans, available literature and site specific marine ecological surveys to understand fully the potential marine ecological impacts of the scheme. For this project, Carcinus drafted an Environmental Statement focusing on the potential impacts to marine ecological receptors, including:
- Benthic ecology (both intertidal and subtidal);
- Marine mammals;
- Fish; and
- Marine / aquatic birds.
We’re looking forward to seeing the construction of this stadium progress, and hope to see the England Men’s Team in action there in 2028!
