Ocean Business 2023
Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton for Ocean Business 2023. This exhibition is the ‘Global meeting place for Ocean Science and Technology professionals’.
Over the three days, we were able to connect with other businesses, share ideas and collaborate, and catch up with people we already know in the industry.
As part of our visit, we headed over to the Blue Robotics demonstration to see their new BlueBoat. Having just launched our online store stocking all the latest Blue Robotics products, we were excited to see it in action. Our in-house Blue Robotics expert and company Director Matt (pictured above) also discussed the new technology with representatives. This year was my first time attending Ocean Business, and I’m already looking forward to going again in 2025! It was really well organised and it was great to meet several of our suppliers and customers, having started my career during the Covid-19 pandemic it was the first time I’ve been able to meet many of them in person. My personal highlight has to be meeting Rusty, Elisa and the guys from Blue Robotics, and getting hands-on with the Blue Boat! I’m very excited to work out how we can best use the platform to elevate and expand the services we provide to our clients.
