Carcinus Ltd is delighted to be working alongside MSDS Marine Ltd in support of a Historic England project researching how the heritage sector may engage with the ecosystems services approach and natural capital assessments. Such assessments aim to identify the value of the environment through its ability to provide social and economic benefits. Together we will be undertaking a case study along the Kent coast and Goodwin Sands to consider how marine and coastal heritage may be valued and integrated within the ecosystems services approach. Public participation will be key to discovering the value of heritage in this area.
‘We look forward to working with our partners at MSDS and Historic England and we will provide further updates as the project progresses.’
