Membership of the River Restoration Centre
We are proud to announce that Carcinus is now a member of the River Restoration Centre (RRC), as a specialist aquatic environmental consultancy and survey company, our services are a perfect fit with the those offered and promoted by the RRC. Carcinus provides a wide range of ecological and environmental services for freshwater environments both within the UK and abroad.
Our aquatic ecologists and consultants are dedicated to providing high quality services to realise the benefits of enhancing and maintaining high functioning riverine catchments and the ecosystem services they support.
Our aquatic ecological services include:
- River habitat surveys and lake habitat mapping – RHS / LHS
- Protected species condition assessments
- Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
- Habitat restoration, enhancement / improvement and management studies
- Fisheries including fish rescue and translocation
- Macro-invertebrate sampling and analysis
- Catchment pollution walkover surveys
Attendance at the 2019 ‘River Restoration in Practice’ conference
Carcinus Director, Matthew Davison will be in attendance at this years ‘River Restoration in Practice‘ conference at Liverpool on 30th April – 1st May, 2019.
